Ferry Tayle is a French trance artist known for his euphoric, uplifting sound and decades-long influence on the global scene. Born in Alsace, his journey began with inspiration from electronic icons like Jean Michel Jarre, Armin van Buuren, and Above & Beyond, leading him to his first decks in 1999 and his DJ debut in 2001.
He gained early acclaim through his collaboration with Airwave as Cape Town, releasing the celebrated album Aviateur. This momentum led to standout solo releases on Enhanced Recordings, including the anthems L’Acrobat, Prestige, and Memory of Me, cementing his reputation as a trance tastemaker.
With performances at flagship events like A State of Trance, Trancefusion, and Luminosity Beach Festival, Ferry Tayle has played to fans across Europe, the U.S., Australia, and beyond. His productions consistently receive support from the genre’s biggest names, including Armin van Buuren, who once called him:
“a great producer who should not stop making so many bombs.”
In 2017, he co-founded Fables with Dan Stone under the Future Sound of Egypt banner. The label quickly rose to prominence with multiple Beatport #1s and major festival takeovers.
In 2021, Ferry Tayle made history by performing the first-ever DJ set at the Europe Spaceport in front of the Ariane 5 rocket, and was voted #8 on TrancePodium’s Top 100 DJs.
In recent years, Ferry Tayle has continued pushing creative boundaries. Alongside Tonks, he launched a new live project Mirage — combining hardware-driven performance with keyboard & drum machines infused with high-impact stage presence.
With standout performances at Luminosity Beach Festival, Tomorrowland, FSOE at the Great Pyramid of Giza, and regular releases on FSOE and Black Hole Recordings, Ferry Tayle continues to evolve — bringing a rare blend of technical mastery, emotional resonance, and forward-thinking sound to every stage he creates.
Known as "The Wizard" to the trance community having Ferry Tayle grace the stage at a festival or club show is a site to behold.
