Sam Laxton is a UK-born DJ and producer with more than a decade of experience building an international career across electronic music. Known for his versatility and forward-thinking production, Sam has earned support from some of the biggest names in the scene, including Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Maddix, TRYM and I Hate Models.

His productions have been heard across some of the world’s biggest electronic music platforms and events, including Tomorrowland, EDC, Boiler Room, Time Warp and A State of Trance, establishing Sam as a respected name across both the trance and harder electronic music scenes.

Now, Sam’s musical journey has come full circle, returning to the sound that first inspired his love for electronic music — UK Hardcore.

Inspired by the soaring melodies, huge vocals, relentless energy and unmistakable positivity of the genre’s 2000s golden era, Sam is now fully focused on bringing that spirit into a modern production and DJ sound. Releases including “Higher,” “Please Me,” “What We Had” and “Wildfire” on Technikore’s respected OneSeventy label have helped establish this new chapter, combining the emotion and euphoria of classic UK Hardcore with contemporary production built for today’s dancefloors.

With a strong production background and established international profile, Sam brings a fresh perspective to a genre experiencing a new wave of global interest. His current mission is simple: put melody, emotion and pure escapism back at the centre of UK Hardcore and help take the sound back to the biggest clubs and festival stages around the world.
